Your Dance Journey Starts Here
As well as a very competitive Latin Formation Team section LJDC also has a very successful Circuit Squad which is second to none. This includes the newly crowned under 19 All Ladies World Champions,Chloe Wallen and Sophie Thomas and The National League Junior All Girls Latin Champions of Tomorrow, Rachel Hayward and Alexandra Morris (pictured Left). Lauren Franklin & Ruby Hall who are the current All England Grand Prix All Ladies Champions.
These girls will always hold a special place in my heart. After living in London for over a decade pursuing my own dance career, I was presented with an opportunity to teach back home in Wales, something that i'd always wanted to do and feel very passionate about.
Sophie and Chloe (pictured right), then aged 12 & 13 respectively, were my first couple. I fell in love with them instantly and we have together through thick and thin ever since. They worked hard, asked questions and were keen to learn, qualities that i adore them for. They wanted success and had what it took.
In the four and a half years I have taught them they have never PLACED OFF PODIUM POSITIONS IN ANY JUNIOR ALL GIRL OR ALL LADIES LATIN COMPETITION!!! In such a competitive category where the standard is insanely high, it is hard to believe that this feat is achievable.
Their list of major titles is no doubt the envy and goal of every same sex dance couple in the country and is rivalled by none.
Current World U19's same sex Latin Champions
5 x Welsh Open Championships Titles
4 x Britains Best Grand Finals Titles
3 x Champions of Tomorrow Titles
4 x English Open Titles
2 x UK Championship Titles
2 x Stars of the Future Titles
2 x Western European Championship Titles
1 x All England Grand Prix Title
They both move on to the next chapters inter dance journey and I am so excited for what the future holds for this talented couple.
